For almost four decades, apart from bootlegs, this influential electronica piece has been unavailable on vinyl. Soft Cell, composed of Marc Almond and Dave Ball, later released hits like Memorabilia and the multi - million - selling Tainted Love. They've also put out four well - received albums. After a 17 - year break, they returned in 2018. This new edition of Mutant Moments is on deluxe 10” clear vinyl, with upgraded sound from the original 7”. The four tracks are remastered using top - notch digital tech, and Dave Ball personally supervised the process, calling it 'a vintage lo - fi Polytechnic synthpop slice, lovingly remastered'.
