This album features a small part of the vast unreleased material we plan to release soon, instead of letting it sit in the archives. The big - band tracks were recorded in 2014, and the duets more recently. Chris White and Paul Moran individually chose the songs for new band arrangements. Tracks by Willie Nelson and Kurt Elling were recorded in 2018 and 2019, and those by Curtis Stigers and Joss Stone in 2018. As mentioned by Van Morrison, it's a great collection.
