It takes you on a sonic journey through a city night, from the exciting start of a new evening to the early dawn when the night ends. Written in 2023 during Ezra Collective's world tour and after they became the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize, this album documents the many dance floors they visited, from London to Chicago, Lagos to Sydney. Dance and rhythm are universal connectors, and these songs prove it. Recorded at Abbey Road studios, the sessions turned into a live celebration of love, music, and dancing when the band was joined by friends and family.
