Produced mainly by Dr. Dre and Mel - Man, it features guest rappers like The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, and Eminem. The album expands on Dre's G - funk sound with gangsta rap themes. It debuted at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 550,000 copies in the first week, and has been certified 6× Platinum by the RIAA, with 7,800,000 copies sold in the U.S. as of August 2015.
