It was captured at Le Bataclan in Paris on December 3rd, 2018, right at the end of a 90 - date world tour after the release of their well - received album Joy as an Act of Resistance. Since then, the band has released two amazing studio albums: Ultra Mono in 2020 and CRAWLER in November 2021. CRAWLER showcases the band's boldest work yet, with songs brought vividly to life through IDLES' most moving music to date, recorded with co - producers Kenny Beats (known for working with Vince Staples and Freddie Gibbs) and IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen.
