A Step Ahead: Vinyl LP

In 1980, the 9th Creation recorded new music at a suspiciously cheap Modesto studio. Weeks later, they found out the owners were drug - dealers, and a big raid led to the DEA confiscating all master tapes. J.D. Burrise's lawsuit to recover them failed. Fortunately, Mike Micenheimer saved cassette mix - downs of some songs. 'A Step Ahead' is the 9th Creation's long - lost album, featuring 8 unreleased tracks full of soul, funk, disco, and boogie. We're excited to present this album for the first time. The super - talented Jacob Arnold has written the band's story with never - before - seen pictures. The CD version comes with bonus tracks from Love Crime 12”, Mellow Music 7”, and 3 previously unreleased rough demos. Note that due to the recording source, some songs may have stereo drops and aren't 100% in audio quality.

To enjoy this 'A Step Ahead' vinyl LP, simply place it on your record player and let the music play. For the CD version, insert it into your CD player. As the recordings are from an old source, be aware that some songs might have a bit of a dip in stereo quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For the CD, keep it in its case when not in use to prevent scratches and dust.
