Set for a winter 2022 release, this 11th studio album continues IMMOLATION's Death Metal saga. Five years after their last studio album, Atonement, Acts Of God powerfully demonstrates IMMOLATION's knack for creating captivating sounds while staying true to their renowned New York old - school Death Metal roots. The album cover, a haunting work by Eliran Kantor, shows three angelic beings struggling to stop their flesh from melting in a dark light from above. The muted colors and ethereal images will resonate with fans of IMMOLATION's past album covers. Founding members Ross Dolan and Robert Vigna explain that they aimed for a darker, more melancholy and hopeless feel, which perfectly reflects the music. The creative process of Acts Of God started with years of notes and plenty of inspiration. With Robert Vigna leading the structural writing, all four members contributed ideas. Recorded with the help of Paul Orofino of Millbrook Studios and mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren of Castle Ultimate Studios, IMMOLATION's signature sound has returned from the depths to offer an exquisite sonic experience with Nuclear Blast Records.
