Description
Hey there! They said it couldn't be done, but here it is - our debut album, ready to rock your world. It's a real dancer and a prancer, and we hope it'll enhance your life. We recorded this gem back in 2021 with the amazing Wiz, the head wizard, and his jester Stan, adding extra magic and spice. After a long wait, it'll be yours in just 3 more months. Following the huge success of 'Dancing Man', which got rave reviews from Steve Lamacq, Dork, Upset, Clash, DIY and more, and a sold - out return to London, Heavy Lungs finally announce their debut album. As expected from post - punk's top noiseniks, it's massive. Formed in summer 2017, Heavy Lungs are a product of their Bristolian environment. Drummer George Garratt says, 'Living here, you can't miss the city's scars, like burning your leg on a motorbike exhaust - painful but with humor and self - reflection.' Right from the start, they were hungry. They quickly wrote and recorded an EP and played their first show. Over the years, even through the pandemic, they've grown stronger. By the way, their frontman, the Ukrainian - born vocalist, is the subject of IDLES' hit 'Danny Nedelko'. Hand - picked by Hedi Slimane for CELINE's 'Portrait of a Performer' series, they've also worked with big brands like Fred Perry and Jagermeister. With three EPs out and extensive UK and Europe tours, HEAVY LUNGS are just beginning their world - domination plans. They've got lots of radio play and fans like Steve Lamacq and Iggy Pop. They've shared stages with great bands like METZ, Thee Oh Sees, IDLES, JOHN, CROWS, and DITZ.
