ARBORESQUE: Vinyl

Fresh from their second straight win for “Jazz Group of the Year” in the DownBeat Readers Poll, ARTEMIS is back with their third Blue Note album, ARBORESQUE. This vinyl features a quintet led by pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes. NPR Music calls them “a femme fatale supergroup,” with a star - studded lineup of top jazz musicians: trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, saxophonist Nicole Glover, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller. ARBORESQUE offers an exciting set of 8 songs. It includes original compositions by each band member and arrangements of pieces from Wayne Shorter, Burt Bacharach, and Donald Brown. Tracks include 'The Smile of the Snake', 'Komorebi', 'Sights Unseen', 'Petrichor', 'Footprints', 'Olive Branch', 'What The World Needs Now Is Love', and 'Little Cranberry'.
