Svaneborg Kardyb, a multi - award - winning Danish duo, consists of Nikolaj Svaneborg on Wurlitzer, Juno, and piano, and Jonas Kardyb on drums and percussion. They've earned a rapidly growing international reputation. Before the release of their Gondwana Records debut album Over Tage last November, they'd already landed an NPR Tiny Desk concert, a top wish for many artists. Their music combines Danish folk and Scandinavian jazz, creating a blend of beautiful melodies, delicate minimalism, catchy grooves, subtle electronica, Nordic atmospheres, and organic interplay. Their NPR session, first shown on YouTube in May 2022, now comes as a strictly limited 1500 - piece vinyl, a four - tracker named At Home (An NPR Tiny Desk Concert), with bespoke artwork by Gondwana Records’ Daniel Halsall. Kara Frame for NPR noted that the Tiny Desk (home) concert was filmed in the Danish countryside of Djursland, which inspired their second album Haven. The duo's untraditional instrument setup has drums and keys facing each other, just as they play at Kardyb's home. They start their set with the title track from Haven. Tracklist: Side A - 1.
