Description

Recorded live at The Renaissance in Hollywood on October 14, 1960, Ben Webster's 'At the Renaissance' was released by Contemporary Records. Saxophonist Webster is joined by Jim Hall on guitar, Jimmy Rowles on piano, Red Mitchell on bass, and Frank Butler on drums. This new addition to the Acoustic Sounds Series features lacquers cut from the original master tapes by Bernie Grundman. Pressed on 180 - gram vinyl at QRP and presented in a tip - on jacket. Tracklist: Side A includes 'Georgia on My Mind', 'Caravan', and 'Renaissance Blues'. Side B features 'Ole Miss Blues', 'What’s This Thing Called Love', and 'Stardust'.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the record from the tip - on jacket, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Place it on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the starting groove. Listen to the music at a comfortable volume. After use, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Then, put the record back in its jacket to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources to keep it in good shape for a long time.
