Description
By a band's fifth LP, the sound usually gets fixed, and they often stick to old formulas. But All Them Witches choose a tougher path. In 2017, their fourth album, Sleeping Through The War, could have become their template. After exploring new sounds in previous albums, this one brought bigger production values to heavy psych blues jams, with producer Dave Cobb's help. But in just a year, they changed everything. They recorded in a cabin outside Nashville, with guitarist Ben McLeod leading. The result, mixed by Rob Schnapf, is their most intimate and human - sounding album, redefining the band once again. With the addition of keyboardist/percussionist Jonathan Draper, the new self - titled record shows the band evolving in tracks like 'Fishbelly 86 Onions', 'Half - Tongue', 'HJTC' and 'Rob’s Dream'.
To enjoy this All Them Witches vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is in good working condition. Place the LP gently on the turntable, and use the tonearm to drop the needle at the beginning of the desired track. When handling the LP, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After use, store the LP in its protective sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't stack heavy objects on top of it, as this can warp the LP. If the LP gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. And always remember to turn off your record player when you're done listening to save energy and protect your equipment.
