Chewing The Fat kicks off a new era for Franc Moody. It's a deep dive into the duo's creative world, breaking the old rules and reinventing the Franc Moody sound to reveal a more mature side compared to their past works. Partly recorded at the LA 64 Sounds Studio and Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 in West London, the album's sound is strongly influenced by Albarn’s synth collection (especially some Russian models) and live shows of Massive Attack and LCD Soundsystem. This album has less disco vibe but more grunge, grit, and attitude.
