Circles: Limited Vinyl 2LP

Circles is Mac Miller's sixth and last studio album. It's a sister album to 2018's Swimming, completed with Jon Brion, who also worked on Swimming. Although it sounds different from its predecessor, Circles has many features that made Swimming critically - acclaimed. Miller shows off his singing as well as rapping, and there's live instrumentation and heartfelt, confessional lyrics. You can hear influences in the songs, like the T - Rex guitar tone in Surf, the Plastic Ono Band - era John Lennon feel in production, and an inspired cover of Arthur Lee's Everybody's Gotta Live. It's a significant final addition to the discography of an artist redefining rap's limits.
