One essay follows environmental and humanitarian journalist Aidan Frere - Smith, and another tells the story of a homelessness crisis in a city with plenty of unused housing. Bad Breeding uses a powerful mix of driving rhythms and fierce, explosive guitars, channeling their anger into a fight for survival with the rallying cry, 'Because these days are ours to take / Seize them with union, love and rage'.
