Description

In 1978, Echo & The Bunnymen were born in Liverpool. The lineup included Ian McCulloch on vocals, Will Sergeant on guitar, Les Pattinson on bass, and Pete De Freitas on drums. Their debut single, 'The Pictures On My Wall' with 'Read It In Books' on the B - side, was a teaser for their 1980 debut album, 'Crocodiles'. Released during the rise of post - punk, this album catapulted the band to the top. The NME hailed it as 'probably the best album this year by a British band', and it's on many greatest debut album lists. The lead single, 'Rescue', produced by Ian Broudie (who later formed The Lightning Seeds in 1989), made it into the UK charts. The album hit the top 20 and was certified Gold. The original cover, shot by Brian Griffin near Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, with its moody atmosphere, perfectly captures the essence of post - punk.

Using this vinyl LP is simple. Just place it on your turntable, gently lower the needle onto the record, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. After each use, put the record back in its sleeve carefully to protect it from scratches. And if you want to clean the vinyl, use a proper record cleaning brush to remove any dust particles.
