Days of the New III, known as the Red album, is the third self - titled studio album by Days of the New, first released in 2001. Travis Meeks, the sole remaining original member, wrote and composed all the songs, making this essentially a solo project. This album gave rise to two singles, 'Hang On To This' and 'Die Born'. 'Hang On To This' reached an impressive #18 on the US Rock Chart. The final track, 'Dancing With The Wind', has an untitled hidden track. Now, for the first time, this classic album is available on vinyl in a 2LP set, complete with an insert. Here's the tracklist: Side A features 'Hang On To This', 'Fighting W/ Clay', 'Days In Our Life', and 'Die Born'. Side B includes 'Best Of Life', 'Dirty Road', 'Where Are You', and 'Never Drown'. Side C has 'Words', 'Once Again', and 'Giving In'. And Side D closes with 'Dancing With The Wind'.
Using your Days of the New III vinyl is super easy. Just place it gently on your turntable, make sure it's centered, and use the tonearm to drop the needle onto the starting groove of the side you want to play. When you're done listening, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. As for storage, keep your vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid stacking heavy objects on top of it to prevent warping. Also, handle the vinyl by its edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, which could affect the sound quality. If you notice any dust on the record, use a soft, anti - static brush to gently clean it before playing.
