Description

Pressed on stunning crystal - clear vinyl, this LP comes in a gatefold jacket with a Japanese - style insert and a deluxe obi strip. Remastered from the original analog tapes, it's a self - produced work by Miles himself. In 1984, without long - time collaborator Teo Macero, Miles explored new musical directions. Keyboardist Robert Irving and guitar legend John Scofield wrote most of the LP's material. It's filled with new synth sounds, making it a truly unique addition to the Miles catalog. Decoy features John Scofield on guitar, Robert Irving on synths and programming, Darryl Jones on bass, Al Foster on drums, Mino Cinelu on percussion, Bill Evans on sax, and a guest appearance from Branford Marsalis.

To play this vinyl LP, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable platter, center it, and lower the tonearm onto the lead - in groove. Enjoy the rich, warm sound it offers. When not in use, store the record in its gatefold jacket to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the record gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove debris. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to prevent oil and dirt transfer.
