Doctor Who - Revenge of The Cybermen: Vinyl 2LP

Doctor Who – Revenge Of The Cybermen was the season 12 finale aired on April 19th, 1975. Like much TV music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, the original master tapes of Carey Blyton’s score were lost. The only surviving copy is on four 7”, 7.5ips 'composer’s copy' domestic 1/4 - inch tapes. This release is based on digital transfers from those tapes. Sadly, the production team didn't fully approve the completed music, so much of it went unused. Peter Howell of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop added electronic touches and arranged extra cues, but some of that was also cut. Here, Carey’s original score is presented as written for the first time, followed by additional, alternative, and 'enhanced' cues from his tapes.

To use this vinyl 2LP, simply place it on your record player. Make sure the turntable is clean and the stylus is in good condition. When playing, handle the records gently to avoid scratches. After use, store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid exposing it to dust and moisture. This is a unique release of Carey Blyton's original score, so enjoy it as a piece of Doctor Who history.
