Description
Neil Young continues to unveil rare live recordings from his vast archives through the Neil Young Official Bootleg Series (OBS). Launched last autumn with the release of Carnegie Hall 1970 (OBS1), the series keeps delivering musical treasures. On May 6th, Young will release the next three installments. Royce Hall, 1971, recorded on January 30 at UCLA, is a solo acoustic performance. Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971, also a solo acoustic show, marks the last US stop of Young’s 1971 solo tour. Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line) from New York City 1974 is an unexpected gem. For concerts with analog tape in Young’s archive, like Royce Hall 1971 and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion 1971, they've been expertly mixed from the original analog masters, offering much higher - quality recordings. For those without tape, like Citizen Kane Jr. Blues, the original bootleg has been restored and remastered for the best audio experience. The original bootleg artwork has been replicated, giving each release a collector's appeal and evoking the era of its creation. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971 album cover shows a worn and faded LP ring.
To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable, align the needle carefully, and start playing. While listening, avoid sudden movements around the turntable to prevent skipping. When you're done, lift the needle gently and remove the record. If the record gets dirty, you can use a soft, anti - static brush to clean it gently.
