Description

Hailing from Wiltshire, Jesus Jones made their mark in 1989. The band, consisting of Mike Edwards on guitar and vocals, Tony De Borg on guitars, Al Doughty on bass, Gen on drums, and Iain Baker on keyboards and samples, released three chart - topping singles and a charting debut album, “Liquidizer”. Their second album, “Doubt” in January 1991, was pre - preceded by hit singles like “Real, Real, Real”, “Right Here, Right Now”, the Top 10 “International Bright Young Thing”, and “Who Where Why ”. The album reached #1 in the UK and earned a Gold Disc for 100,000 sales. In the US, “Real, Real, Real” and “Right Here, Right Now” hit #4 and #2 respectively, and the album went Platinum with 1,000,000 sales. Iain Baker says “Doubt” was about using samples to underpin everything, focusing on the essence of pop songs. This album, featuring these well - known hits, is pressed on 140 - gram translucent orange vinyl.

To enjoy this Jesus Jones 'Doubt' vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the LP on the turntable, being careful not to touch the playing surface with your fingers to avoid leaving oils. Use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the lead - in groove. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm carefully and place it back in its rest. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, standing it upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can damage the vinyl.
