Delays' Faded Seaside Glamour, released in 2004, is an atmospheric and evocative debut album. It's a world full of wonder and excitement, with true emotion and a timeless soul. Frontman Greg Gilbert's fragile yet powerful vocals blend intoxicatingly with the forward - looking synths of his brother Aaron, Colin Fox's bass, and Rowly's drumming, creating a series of impactful songs. Sadly, Greg Gilbert passed away in 2021 after a battle with cancer. But like the unique places the album's name celebrates, Delays' music has endured and continues to connect with audiences. To honor this amazing work, Rough Trade Records is releasing Faded Seaside Glamour on vinyl for the first time. There's a limited edition on orange vinyl with deluxe packaging, including a print of Greg’s art and words by Aaron. There's also a standard version on black vinyl.
