During the long pandemic days, O’Brien polished them in his small Dublin home studio. The album was expertly mixed by David Wrench, known for his work with Frank Ocean, The xx, and FKA Twigs. O’Brien says of Fever Dreams, “I wanted to create something that was as rewarding for the listener as it was for me. Sometimes, the wildest states can birth the most blissful, escapist dreams.”
