Description

Flag, the ninth album by James Taylor, was first released in 1979. It features newly - written original songs, as well as a cover of The Drifters' hit 'Up On The Roof' co - written by Carole King, a Beatles cover 'Day Tripper', and a remake of Taylor's own 'Rainy Day Man'. Taylor collaborated with other great musicians on this album, including Carly Simon and Graham Nash for backing vocals and David Sanborn on saxophone. The album showcases a wide range of emotions, with some songs having a stronger rock edge. It also includes two songs, 'Brother Trucker' and 'Millwork', written for the 1978 Broadway musical Working. The album cover features a signal flag named 'Oscar', which in old maritime days meant'man overboard'. This is a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on pink vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with an insert. Tracks include COMPANY MAN, JOHNNIE COMES BACK, DAY TRIPPER on SIDE A and B.S.U.R., RAINY DAY MAN, MILLWORKER on SIDE B.

To use this pink vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and set the tonearm on the starting groove. As for care, always hold the record by its edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. When not in use, store it back in its gatefold sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. If the record gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove the dust. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Enjoy this limited - edition album by James Taylor!
