Mono, an English trip hop duo, hit big in 1996 with their debut single “Life In Mono”. Before releasing their first full - length album, Formica Blues, they put out three more singles. This album reached #71 in the UK album charts and #137 on the US Billboard 200. Its sound combines the vibes of 60s and 70s TV and film theme tunes, jazz - infused breakbeats, and Massive Attack - like synthy atmospheres. Produced by Mark Virgo, who also worked with Massive Attack and Björk, this is a must - have for trip hop fans. Now available on black vinyl.
