FUNKY NOTHINGNESS, initially titled by Frank Zappa for this project, features studio cuts from 1970. It's a follow - up to THE HOT RATS SESSIONS. Zappa used a minimalist combo with Don “Surgarcane” Harris on violin and vocals. The music focuses on instrumental and blues - oriented pieces. This album holds many unreleased tracks that Zappa kept in mind but never released. Some were almost on THE LOST EPISODES. To use this vinyl record, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition.
