Joe Goddard, a multi - faceted talent in UK dance and indie music, has spent the past few years connecting with his intuition. He aims to keep the conscious mind out of music - making, letting the process be empathetic.
The outcome is his third solo album, Harmonics, releasing on July 12th. Rooted in instinct and empathy, this album features 14 tracks of off - center dance music spanning UK garage, house, hip - hop, pop, and disco. Goddard collaborates with many artists. Eno Williams of Ibibio Sound Machine grooves on “Progress”, UK rapper Oranje stars in “When Love’s Out of Fashion”, Hayden Thorpe adds his unique vocals to “Summon”, and Joe’s Hot Chip bandmates Alexis Taylor and Al Doyle appear on “Heal Your Mind”. Other guests include Tom McFarland of Jungle, Fiorious, Falle Nioke, and Alabaster DePlume.
