Heritage is the tenth studio album from the Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. Recorded in early 2011 at Atlantis Studios in Stockholm, it's produced by Mikael Åkerfeldt, engineered by Janne Hansson, and mixed by Steven Wilson. This album shifts towards a progressive rock sound, a long - desired direction for the band, offering a sharp contrast to their past progressive death metal works. It was a critical and commercial hit, charting at number 19 on the Billboard 200. The first 5000 copies of this limited edition come with a beautiful 16 - page booklet.
