Identity: Vinyl 2LP

Nitin Sawhney, the Ivor Novello lifetime award-winning writer, composer, and producer, is back with his most commercially appealing album yet, 'Identity'. This album is filled with collaborations with his favorite artists. The album's launch is marked by the first single featuring Guy Garvey ('Darling Boy'), and there's a headline event at the Royal Albert Hall to coincide with the album release. Nitin says about the new album, 'The world is full of people trying to tell us who we are. They're so loud in pushing their judgments and definitions that they often forget our shared humanity. We're all human, and we all matter. As long as you're not hurting anyone, the only opinion that counts in defining yourself is your own. With this album, I'm inviting some of my favorite international friends and artists to celebrate their identities in a space of sonic safety and honesty. In making an album called 'Identity', I'm working with artists who are proud of who they are, and their work shows that pride. This album is a sonic collage of music, strong voices, and self - validation. 'Identity' is a love letter to who we all are.'

To enjoy this vinyl double LP album 'Identity', simply place the record on your turntable and use the tonearm to drop it on the groove gently. Make sure your turntable is set at the correct speed, usually 33 1/3 RPM for LPs. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the playing surface, as this can affect the sound quality.
