Los Angeles - February 1, 2019. The Beta Machine, led by bassist, vocalist, and keyboardist Matt McJunkins and drummer Jeff Friedl, with vocalist Claire Acey and guitarist/keyboardist Nicholas Perez, has signed a global deal with Andy Gould’s T - Boy Records and Universal Music Enterprises (UMe). Their debut full - length album, Intruder, will be out worldwide on March 29 via T - Boy/UMe. Starting today, preorder the album in CD, digital, or the eye - catching translucent red with smoky black swirls vinyl LP format. The lead single, “Embers,” is also out now and can be streamed or downloaded immediately when you preorder the album. The Beta Machine will tour across North America and Europe in 2019. McJunkins and Friedl from Los Angeles are well - known for their work in A Perfect Circle. They've also been part of many other great bands like Puscifer, Filter, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. The Beta Machine aims for creative freedom and eclecticism, as heard in their 2017 EP “All This Time.” The Intruder album takes it further with highlights like “Embers,” “Bones,” and “Palindrome.” The band draws from a wide range of contemporary music without being tied to specific influences.
