In 2018, the amazing bassist Marcus Miller came back to funk on his lively album Laid Black after his extensive exploration of African - diaspora music in Afrodeezia. Marcus throws a great party with special guests like Trombone Shorty, Selah Sue, Kirk Whalum, Take 6 and Jonathan Butler.
