Largo: Vinyl 2LP

Brad Mehldau's highly - acclaimed 2002 album, Largo, produced by Jon Brion, is getting its very first vinyl release. On this album, Mehldau explores electronic instrumentation in a collection of original and cover tunes. You'll hear Radiohead’s 'Paranoid Android' and The Beatles’ 'Dear Prudence'. Mehldau plays pianos, synths, and vibes. He's joined by a great lineup including Larry Grenadier, Darek 'Oles' Oleszkiewicz, and Justin Meldal - Johnson on bass; Matt Chamberlain, Jorge Rossy, and Jim Keltner on drums; Victor Indrizzo on drums and percussion; and producer Brion on guitar, guitar synth, and piano percussion. Brad Mehldau's Nonesuch debut was the 2004 solo disc Live in Tokyo. Since then, he's released eighteen more records on the label, including six with his trio, and collaborative and solo albums. His recent releases are diverse, from recordings with the Joshua Redman Quartet to albums inspired by different themes and commissioned works. In March, his memoir Formation: Building a Personal Canon, Part I was published by Equinox Publishing.

To use this vinyl record, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable platter and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the lead - in groove. Sit back and enjoy the rich sound of Brad Mehldau's music. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. Keep the record in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the record upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the record gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust particles. Don't use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the vinyl.
