Description
‘Learning to Swim on Empty’ is the brand - new EP from South London's Wu - Lu. It's his first work since his 2022 breakthrough debut album, ‘LOGGERHEAD’. This EP was first released digitally in May 2024. The vinyl edition comes with a special treat: two previously unreleased instrumental tracks, ‘Last Night With You (Instrumental)’ and ‘Crow’s Nest (Instrumental)’. Wu - Lu, as both a vocalist and musician, delves deeper into his art, presenting some of his most sincere and intimate songs. It's like a set of diary entries, inspired by his Brixton upbringing, experiences of death and grief, rebirth, and the intense feeling of being in a make - or - break situation. The EP broadens his sonic range, and the artwork is by Bráulio Amado. Tracklisting includes: 1. Young Swimmer (feat. Rohan Ayinde), 2. Daylight Song, 3. Sinner, 4. Mount Ash, 5. Blunted Strings, 6. Last Night With You, 7. Crow's Nest (feat. Caleb Femi), 8. Last Night With You (Instrumental), 9. Crow's Nest (Instrumental).
