Leroy Walks! 180g Vinyl LP

This newly pressed 180-gram vinyl LP of bassist Leroy Vinnegar's debut album 'Leroy Walks!' is part of Acoustic Sounds' celebration of Contemporary Records. Originally released in 1958, it features an all - star lineup including Victor Feldman, Gerald Wilson, Teddy Edwards, Carl Perkins, and Tony Bazley. Recorded by Roy DuNann, this edition is pressed at QRP with (AAA) lacquers cut from the original tapes by Bernie Grundman and comes in a tip - on jacket. The album was recorded in July and September 1957. Six out of seven songs have 'walk' in their titles, like 'Would You Like to Take a Walk' and Vinnegar's original 'Walk On.' Although Vinnegar doesn't take much solo space, he showcases his talented sidemen.
