The band, led by Art Blakey on drums, had a star - studded lineup including Bill Pierce, the Marsalis brothers, and the Eubanks brothers. This is the first recording with Wynton, Branford, Robin, and Kevin together. Tracks like “Minor Thesis” showcase the power of jazz improvisation.
