Marc Riley, a big fan of the Wedding Present, and his production team have a strong relationship with David Gedge and the band. Riley says releasing these Wedding Present sessions from the BBC 6 Music programme over the years is an honor. Like the Peel / Selwood releases on Strange Fruit, this record shows that the BBC can still be a creative place for great bands.
