Originally released on February 19, 2013, STRFKR's third full-length album, Miracle Mile, took the Portland, OR dance-pop band to new sonic heights. With its catchy energy and unique blend of electronic and rock elements, it was a defining moment for the band. Primary songwriter Josh Hodges invited other members to contribute during the recording in early 2012 in Astoria, Oregon.
