Description

In 1969, well - known and productive organist Brother Jack McDuff joined Blue Note Records. After his debut album Down Home Style, he released Moon Rappin’ in 1970, one of his most creatively bold albums. This album features 5 funky and out - of - this - world original tracks by McDuff. There are hard - grooving numbers like “Flat Backin’” and “Loose Foot,” and innovative tracks such as “Moon Rappin’” and “Oblighetto.” The latter two tracks became hip - hop legends when A Tribe Called Quest sampled them for their classic songs “Scenario” and “Check the Rhime.” This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is in stereo, all - analog. Mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, it's pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal. Tracklist: A1: Flat Backin; A2: Oblighetto; B1: Moon Rappin'; B2: Made In Sweden; B3: Loose Foot.

To use this vinyl LP, first make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable and set the tonearm carefully on the starting groove. Enjoy the rich, analog sound it offers. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, put it back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the vinyl upright in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. If it gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. This will help maintain the quality of the sound and keep your Moon Rappin' vinyl in great shape for a long time.
