It features the long - awaited original takes of “Return to Pirates,” “Poison Moon,” and “Killed by the Telephone,” which were recorded 20 years ago but left off the final album. Additionally, there's a brand - new orchestral version of “Valley of One Thousand Perfumes,” produced by composer Joe Wong (known for Russian Doll, Midnight Gospel) and mixed by Dave Fridmann. At the turn of the century, Timony, a well - known figure in American underground music through her work in Autoclave and Helium, was facing an uncertain future as Helium was ending. Despite struggling with the rock 'n' roll business, she knew she wanted to make another record, as it was her favorite part of being in a band.
