Major Weight Media was a Hip - Hop project from Seattle started by Lil Kriz, a Detroit - born composer and MC. He moved to Seattle in 1988, graduated from Garfield High School, and got his audio engineering degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. Lil' Kriz, a piano player since childhood, shows his amazing composition skills on this 6 - track debut EP. The whole project features funky beats and smooth verses from Kriz and Big D. Originally produced in 1996 and self - released on CD in 1997, 'Music Speaks Louder' is now available on vinyl for the first time.
