Description

Neu! 75, originally released in February 1975 on Brain Records, is the third album by Neu!. Recorded and mixed at Conny Plank's studio, it blends Michael Rother's ambient, minimalist style with Klaus Dinger's rock - infused edginess, predating punk by a year. When imported to the UK, it influenced key figures in the punk rock movement. After a few - year break, Neu! reformed. During this break, Rother worked with Cluster in Harmonia. By then, Rother and Dinger had different musical ideas. Dinger preferred a more aggressive, rock - influenced style, while Rother favored an ambient approach. So, they reached a compromise: Side 1 was recorded in the old Neu! duo style with Dinger on drums. For Side 2, Dinger switched to guitar and lead vocals, bringing in his brother Thomas and Hans Lampe to play drums together.

To use this Neu! 75 Limited Picture Disc LP, simply place it on your turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently lower the needle onto the record at the start of the track you want to listen to. When you're done, carefully lift the needle and return it to its rest. Store the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Avoid touching the playing surface of the record with your fingers as it can leave oils and dirt, which may affect the sound quality. If the record gets dirty, use a proper record cleaning brush to gently clean it in a circular motion.
