Oceanside Countryside: Recycled Vinyl LP

Oceanside Countryside is a remarkable addition to Neil Young’s Analog Original Series (AOS). Recorded from May to December 1977, it came before the 1978 release of Comes A Time. Both albums share a country/folk sound, with three songs appearing on both. The vinyl version of Oceanside Countryside includes some tracks from the CD of the same name in Neil Young’s Archives Vol. III. This is the original track - list that was first planned for release, and now it's available on vinyl for the first time. These are the original tape - recorded mixes. As Neil Young says, he sang and played instruments at Triad studios in Florida and Indigo studio in Malibu for Oceanside, and sang and recorded with his friends at Crazy Mama’s in Nashville for Countryside. To use this vinyl record, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable, center it, and lower the tonearm carefully onto the record's edge. Let the music play! When you're done, lift the tonearm and return it to its rest position. Then, take the record off the turntable and put it back in its sleeve. Keep the record away from direct sunlight and high - humidity areas to prevent warping.
