Kickstarting Matador’s 2023 Revisionist History Series, we're commemorating the 30th anniversary of Bettie Serveert’s debut album, 'Palomine'. Originally hailed by Rolling Stone in a four - star review as 'untamed and free as pop gets', this 1993 classic is getting its first Matador pressing since the original release on June 23rd. It comes on limited - edition translucent orange vinyl, along with the 'Brain - Tag' 7 - inch vinyl included in the original pressing. Band members Carol van Dyk and Peter Visser recall recording 'Palomine', saying they were inexperienced but loved music and playing their own songs. Starting in 1991, they had no big ambitions, but Matador's record deal changed their lives. 'Pal o’ mine' remains a dear friend, and they still enjoy playing those songs after 30 years. Tracks include 'Leg', 'Palomine', 'Kid's Allright' and more.

To use your Palomine 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Orange Vinyl LP and 7 - inch vinyl, you'll need a record player. Simply place the vinyl gently on the turntable, adjust the tonearm, and let the music play. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints or dirt on it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. Enjoy this special anniversary release and relive the magic of Bettie Serveert's debut album.
