Description

The Penguin Cafe Orchestra's second studio album, released in 1981 and recorded from 1977 - 1980, features an expanded band lineup. Key members include Simon Jeffes, Helen Leibmann, and others. Most pieces are composed by Simon Jeffes, with a few exceptions like 'Paul's Dance' and 'Cutting Branches'. The album cover is painted by Emily Young. 'Cutting Branches for a Temporary Shelter' is inspired by a traditional Zimbabwean song. The Boston Globe praised it as both eccentric and delightful. In 2021, it was named among the 50 best albums of 1981 by Spin. This re - press uses the 2008 remaster and is pressed on apricot vinyl. Tracklist includes 'Air À Danser', 'Yodel 1', 'Telephone And Rubber Band' and more.

To enjoy this Penguin Café Orchestra vinyl LP, simply place it on your record player. Make sure the turntable is clean and the stylus is in good condition. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Store the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. This limited - edition apricot vinyl is a collector's item, so handle it with care to keep it in top shape for years to come.
