Mogwai's sixth studio album, 'The Hawk Is Howling', was recorded with Andy Miller at Chemikal Underground and mixed by Gareth Jones at Castle Of Doom. It took the band back to a fully instrumental soundscape. This was the first time they worked with Andy Miller since their debut album 'Young Team'. The album includes the single 'Batcat'. To mark the 15th anniversary of its release, it'll be available as a newly remastered 2LP white vinyl on September 22nd, exactly 15 years after the original launch. Frank Arkwright remastered the album at Abbey Road Studios. Alongside this special release, limited - edition colored vinyl represses of 'Rock Action', 'Happy Songs For Happy People', and 'Mr. Beast' will also come out on September 22nd. 'Rock Action' is on transparent red vinyl, 'Happy Songs For Happy People' on transparent green vinyl, and 'Mr. Beast' on crystal - clear vinyl. Tracks include 'Sine Wave', 'Take Me Somewhere Nice', 'O I Sleep', 'Dial: Revenge', 'You Don't Know Jesus', 'Robot Chant', '2 Rights Make 1 Wrong', and 'Secret Pint'.
Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the start of the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints or dirt on it, which can affect the sound quality.
