Cat - O - Log Records, in collaboration with Universal Music Enterprises, is thrilled to continue commemorating the 50th anniversary of Cat Stevens’ iconic live album, Saturnight (Cat Stevens Live In Tokyo). Originally released by A&M Records exclusively in Japan, after its Record Store Day Black Friday 2024 launch on 180g color vinyl, this album is now available on a limited - edition 140g lava splatter vinyl. It comes in a gatefold sleeve for the first time, with lyrics and new retrospective notes from tour manager Carl Miller, bass player Bruce Lynch, and Hallam Kite. Recorded at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on June 22nd, 1974, during the Japanese leg of the Bamboozle Tour for Buddha and the Chocolate Box, Saturnight was Cat Stevens’ debut live album.
