Cat - O - Log Records, together with Universal Music Enterprises, is excited to keep the 50th - anniversary celebrations of Cat Stevens’ iconic live album, Saturnight (Live in Tokyo). Originally released by A&M Records exclusively in Japan, after its Record Store Day Black Friday 2024 launch on 180g color vinyl, this album is now available on 140g black vinyl. It comes in a gatefold sleeve for the first time, with lyrics and new retrospective notes from tour manager Carl Miller, bass player Bruce Lynch, and Hallam Kite. Recorded at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on June 22nd, 1974, during the Japanese part of the Bamboozle Tour for Buddha and the Chocolate Box, Saturnight was Cat Stevens’ first live album.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable and gently drop the needle on the record. Make sure your turntable is set at the correct speed. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, return the vinyl to its sleeve to protect it from dust. Store the record in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Don't expose it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can damage the vinyl. And that's all you need to know to keep your Cat Stevens' Saturnight vinyl in great shape for years to come.
