During the pandemic that brought the world to a standstill and stopped bands from touring, SEPULTURA, Latin America's top metal export, didn't just sit idle. Like the beautiful imagery on the colorful cover by Eduardo Recife, the thrash - metal pioneers from Belo Horizonte used their unplanned free time in 2020. Guitarist Andreas Kisser recalls, 'SepulQuarta was born at the start of the pandemic when everything stopped. We had a new album but no tours, so we created an event to connect with fans globally, play music, and share ideas. It was amazing!' Drummer Eloy Casagrande says it helped him stay in touch with music during the pandemic. SEPULTURA invited international stars like David Ellefson, Scott Ian, and others to join their weekly podcast and play classic SEPULTURA tracks from home. These recordings were mixed and mastered by Conrado Ruther. Andreas explains they also had Q&A sessions on various topics with guests. This vinyl features unique performances of SEPULTURA's music with talented guest musicians.
