Description

Primitive Ignorant is all about massive bass and history - Sym Gharial's and Britain's. Sym, from 80s Matchbox B - Line Disaster, tells his story in Sikh Punk. Growing up as a Sikh in Ladbroke Grove, he found his place in punk rock, but also faced drugs, racism, and addiction. It reflects on the Brexit - fuelled return of childhood racism and its colonial roots. Sym rejected his Sikh identity, bleached his skin, but then had a redemptive journey. He's been clean for ten years and embraced his Sikh roots. Inspired by his favorite Clash album, Sandinista, Sikh Punk ventures into new musical genres. With no guitar, it aims for a heavy pop style between Health and Chromatics. As a bassist, Sym makes it bass - driven with R'n'B production elements. Since he's not a singer, he gets others to sing his personal lyrics. Many well - known voices contribute, like Leonore of International Teachers Of Pop and Jon from The War On Drugs. There are found sounds from Portobello Market, and it's mastered by Barry. The limited vinyl edition has a sleeve by Steve Gullick and a Ballad video.

To enjoy this Sikh Punk vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable and let the music play. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid any dirt or fingerprints on the record. Store it in a cool, dry place to keep it in good condition. If you want to clean the vinyl, use a soft, anti - static brush. Don't expose it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as it can damage the vinyl. And that's all you need to know to have a great listening experience!
