'I felt its sound/down to my darkest, deepest root'. In the closing part of 'Two Bells Ringing At Once', a beautiful hymn built from hazy ambient tones and swelling strings, these words sum up the artist's strong urge to create and the music lover's constant search for new sounds. Mark Lanegan embodies both these qualities.
